Creativity. Perspective. Transformation.

The Creative Healer comes from my belief that creativity is more than making things. It is a way of seeing, understanding, connecting ideas, solving problems and finding new ways forward.

After more than 30 years working in design, photography, publishing, creative direction, marketing and visual storytelling... and more than 20 years of personal exploration, healing and transformation... I began to see creativity as something much bigger than the work I was producing.

For many years, I worked under DEPART and Donald E. Perry Art. Those names represented important chapters of my creative journey, but I eventually realized that what I was building was not simply about me, my artwork or a particular creative brand.

It was about the process.

It was about what happens when we step back, question what we see, change our perspective and allow creativity to help us move through uncertainty, challenges and transformation.

That is why I changed from DEPART to The Creative Healer.

The Creative Healer is not just a name for my art. It represents an evolving process.

It recognizes that creativity, like healing and transformation, is never really finished. We are always learning, changing, creating, rethinking and becoming. The work continues to evolve because the person, the ideas and the world around us continue to evolve.

That is why The Creative Healer is bigger than Donald E. Perry Art.

My art is part of it. My design work is part of it. My writing, publishing, photography, consulting and creative problem-solving are part of it. But the larger purpose is the process that connects them all.

Not because I have all the answers, but because I believe the creative process can help us look at what isn't working, see it from a different perspective and discover what might be possible next.

For now, I'm bringing that approach into my work through creative problem-solving, creative direction, design, consulting and selected creative projects.

The goal is simple: see differently, think differently, create differently.
